A "Chic and Shabby" office design

I always wanted to create a space in our home for my office in a way that I create space in my booths at the stores where I sell.... this is my chippy, shabby, rusty office design :)

Peeling veneer isn't easy to replace, so I add primitive weathered wood over the top for a quick fix.

The ladder is resting on the door at the other end, and this end is suspended with the heavy rusty chain.

Creating the "store front" with the porch rails and suspended windows

View from an inside corner, window and screen suspended

Filling up the kitchen corner
Open for now.... more windows, doors, and ladders next week :)

Vintage furniture re-purposed

Paint was lightly dragged over the dried wood finish, then sanded on the edges.

Machine was removed, top was screwed down. Just add a lamp and your pretty collections :)

2 oak drawers flipped upside down.  Legs attached on the sides to create a table for planting, or serving food/beverages.

A shabby window was attached to the back for interest.  A hook allows for a sign, or a hanging pot.

Similar idea as before... this sturdy drawer had great advertising on the side.

Picket fence parts were added as table legs.

Just a whimsical thought. This pot was jacked up on the side, so I screwed an old belt around the top.

Add burlap, dirt and it's ready for a plant ;)
